LADY SULTAN HANZADE

(1607-1650)
I. Ahmed’s Doughtert

The grandeur of clothing and jewelry in the 16th century continued into the 17th century, albeit with a decline in the quality of the fabrics and in the number of patterns used. Headgears were embellished with the decorated pins attached to their sides. The headdress used is one with a decorative pin attached to its side and that narrows towards the top, which was a common sight in the miniatures of the period.
